Malayika Rescue Mission was founded in 2013, is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, whose focus and purpose is to create a healthy educational environment that ministers to the development of children in totality; intellectually,  physically, spirituality and emotionally.

Malayika Rescue Mission is a  youth development organization whose focus is on assisting underprivileged and orphand children in Uganda with education and other opportunities to develop their livelihood for a better tomorrow.

Mission, Vision and Principles

Malayika Rescue Mission’s is a community based organization formed to impoved aducational opportunities, community-based support, and hope to orphans, the less prifileged and at-risk children and their guardians in Toro and Mukono, Uganda. As part of its delivery of educational programs, MRM will address broader community developmnent needs, partnering with other community service organizations where suitable opportunities arise.

In executing its Mission, MRM will adhere to five core principles.

  1. Focus on Orphans and the less privileged children.
  2. Improve the physical health of students.
  3. Provide emotional support to students and their guardians.
  4. Provide spiritual support to students and their guardians.
  5. Transparency is at the heart of MRM’s programs.

What We Do

Listed below are just a few of the many ways that Malayika Rescue Mission assists with helping a child to a better tomorrow:

Provide education and sports as a vehicle for empowerment and development

Provide a support system that encourages confidence and builds self-esteem

Assist children with developing tangible goals

 Providing consistent and continued support throughout their education.

Assist children with disabilities through developmental initiatives.

Train farmers on specific agronomic practices

Encourage our targeted group to get involved in income generating activities

 Assist children and underprivileged following natural calamities

Provide skills training to children and families on the following: 

  • rearing animals
  • fish keeping
  • beekeeping
  • poultry
  • agricultural
  • Provide training to improve farming yields
